Sometimes it makes me wonder… but I consider myself as close to the most honest person you might ever meet.. or I’ll try to be at the very least…

I would never intentionally hurt ones feelings, and I try my hardest to live by the “golden rule” of do unto other as you would have done unto you… but at the same time, if I think you’re doing or saying something inappropriate, or cruel, or down right strange (haha), I’ll be the first to tell you so.  As for me.. if I’m acting like an idiot.. please let me know

Some days, I think I should have been a defense lawyer… or pshrink’ … or a prison guard!  bwwwaa-aaahhhh!!!  When I see someone get knocked down, my first reaction is to 1) help them back up, and 2) defend them.  A good quality, you would think ….

My poor children, they have no idea what is in store for them, lol

I think there is honest goodness in every person… and each of us deserves a chance to prove ourselves (more than once!).  Which… in itself has gotten me into much trouble. But again… there has to be goodness in us all, and I just try to weed it out (even in the thickest and nastiest of “gardens!”), even getting stung in the process of it.

I try to be a good listener… and  lend my shoulder… hand… hugs… wallet (lol)… to those who need it.. even when not asked for.  Which is why I’ve come to the conclusion… is honesty the best policy?

2010 has brought alot of tears into my household… and we’re ready for some smiles now!

We’ve lost 2 amazing Grandmothers… the most dear Father in Law I could have ever imagined… and countless others along the past 12 months…  so now I say.. BRING ON THE BABIES!

I’m so excited for this summer, and all of the bouncing new bundles of joy it will bring my way!  A few close friends are due any day, along with my own cousins  having their first babies…
So if all else fails.. I know a baby will bring that smile back around

And if I need a good giggle.. I can just go visit my niece Georgia, who recently learned to crawl (like a gorilla for that matter!) lol
Or I can ask my daughter to chit chat, and she’ll whisper in my ear “Mama? I ‘anna tell ‘ou sunthin”…. and then smile at me.

However, Iwill REALLY look forward to a friends wedding at the end of this month, and know that a good time for all awaits us!!!

Any which way life takes us next.. I hope it brings a smile! Cuz we could surely use one

Oh, did I mention… I did something fun and got hair extentions, courtesy of Spa Bleu in Barrington.. and topped it off w/a few strands of pink!
Can’t wait to show the hubs… don’t know if it will bring a smile or a “what the…?” from him, haha! Anyway, I LOVE IT!!!  Spa Bleu always has a way of turning my day upside down, and giving me a “happy place”.

Yeah… the picture over load today… sorry about that! lol I’ve had a few busy BUSY weeks, and not enough time in a day to update my blog with all of the beauties of recent shoots! So forgive me, but they will come.. slowly but surely… or possibly in a pic-storm as shown today!

and a new obsession… boudoir photography!

These are the tamer of the bunch.. but you get the idea. Classy, seductive, regular every day woman… looking EXTRAORDINARY!!!

My friend and photography partner, Jamie Kristine, are working on starting a new website dedicated ONLY to our love of boudoir photography… so keep your eyes peeled!!!!

I warmly welcome this October…. because September was a rollar coaster ride that I wish to never experience again!

Sadly, in September… we lost 3 people, whom we all cared very deeply about.  On top of that, we were told that my father in law… one of the most amazing people and inspirations to me, was sick with cancer… again.  He has a rare form of cancer, called MERKEL Cell… which only a handful of people in the world have.  Thankfuly, he is a strong willed person and “Lion” hearted fighter… so we are keeping optimistic and lookin forward to good news after his treatments.

I also played with the thoughts of opening a retail studio, and moving my studio from my home.  However, I’ve decided to put it on the “back burner”, because of the said above situations.  But…. the thought is always in my head, and I’m constantly obsession about a darlin little studio.. filled with tutus, page boy hats, and other fun props! lol

So WELCOME OCTOBER, and I pray you bring us better times than September did, lol

Did I mention that Halloween is my FAVORITE time of year?  If you know me personally… you know that Halloween is a soft spot for me…. not only the great ghosts and ghouls (that I LOVE! lol), but it’s also the birthday month for almost all of my family!  My sister, father, mother, 3 aunts, grandmother, cousin, Goddaughter, niece… have I mentioned enough?  Well they are ALL October babies!  In fact, my fathers birthdsy IS on Halloween, and my mother… well she is the day before!  So it’s a big fest for us! Oh yeah…. and my dad turns 60 this year!!!! HOORAY!!!

So that’s my story… and I’m lookin forward to a fun, and HAPPY October!
