I have two favorites and both were from last year. I was mr. Potato head very easy and cute. I won 1st place in a costume contest. The other one was the glow in the dark stick figures. I made this for my son. He wore black sweats and then we stitched on glow sticks to make him look like a stick figure. Everyone loved it but it needs to be worn at night or when it’s dark for the full effect.
PS I love my bag and I am always getting comments on it too. Thanks
Favorite costume was when I was flight attendant. It was so much fun! I walked around with my suitcase and pointed to all exits. Ahh! How fun!
My favorite costume was when I did the “pimp and…ahem…”prostitute” party. It was the only time in my life that I would have walked out in public dressed the way I was…and it still makes me giggle when I see the pictures!
My favorite costume was a Cabbage Patch Kid number I wore when I was probably about 5…not sure if it was my favorite but it must have been since its the only one I can remember from when I was a kid!! Who could forget that super hot plastic face with barely any air ways for breathing, the tight yet flimsy rubber string holding it so close to your face that you couldn’t even open our mouth enough to yell trick or treat. Hey maybe it wasnt my favorite…I’m begining to think it left a different kind of impression on me! =)
My favorite was when I was about 10 we were last minute on the costumes so my mom bought one of those pumpkin garbage bags, put me in it (head out 🙂 and filled it with balloons. It was so fun to walk around in and so cheap 🙂
My favorite costume is from when I was in elementary school. I wanted to be a gumball machine. So my mom dressed me up in all red. I then had a clear garbage bag around my midsection and it was filled with those colorful balls you jump into. Then I kept real gumballs nearby and would pass those out. When I look back at it I think I was crazy to wear it, but sooo funny! 🙂
my favorite costume of all time was when i was in college, I lived with my grandmother, i found this old dress – no lie, looked like an old linen lace kelly GREEN tablecloth. i swear. so i was invited to a halloween party, i hot glued paper cups, plates, napkins, forks, spoons, knives, just like a table setting for four including the centerpieces and went to the party, laid on the couch and was a TABLE – hehe i’d dig out an old pic and scan it in, but not that motivated at the moment 🙂
My allt ime favorite costume was dorothy from the wizarg of oz. I put my great grandmas miniture chihuahua in her picnic basket and carried that around.I was so pround of my “glitter shoes” and wore them well after halloween. I must add that the most creative one that I’ve seen was a little boy in my neighbor hood now took a very large pair of pants and put metal coat hangers in the wase and made these things that came off of his shoulder to keep them over his head and he looked out og the zipper. What a cute little pair of pants!
Ok- I can’t pick just one. I have loved my boys costumes every year. Having twin boys, it’s sometimes hard coming up with something, but so far I’ve managed. 🙂
2005- batman & robin
2006- elephant & monkey
2007- cowboy & indian
and this year- Buzz & Woody
How do I post pics in here? 🙂
My favourite costume of all time was this pink bunny costume I had when I was about 5. It was made from pink fuzzy faux fur and had these big fuzzy floppy ears! We kept it for years and played dress up with it all the time!
ok… I think MY favorite was this witch costume that I must of wore for at least 5 years! My favorite more recently is a skunk costume that I bought for taking pictures of little ones 🙂 Since my kids are not babies anymore, I love that photography keeps me in the baby department! LOL!

Those shoes are THE cutest thing ever!
Last year I dressed my kiddies up as Dora & Diego. I made their wigs out of brown yarn and really just hunted ebay for pieces to their costume. It was more like real clothes than an actual “costume”. They were DARLING and actually won first place in a costume contest.
My mom had always made us our costumes. I really appreciate this now days because the costumes you buy from a store just don’t compare to the creativity of a momma. My favorite costume had to be the year when my sister and I were giant flowers. My mom cut the flower part out of big sheets of styrofoam and spray painted them hot pink. The middle of the flower was cut out so that our faces would show through (our faces were painted yellow) and then our bodies were supposed to be the stems so we wore green sweatsuits. The whole costume was so simple but boy did it have a huge impact! Everyone loved them!
My fav costume of all time has to be my son’s cow costume my late mother made him. My youngest son will be wearing it this year, it is just so cute and cuddly!
AND MY WINNER IS…. Marilyn Flagg! 🙂
