My favorite holiday (and yes, in our home they are considered holidays) are BIRTHDAYS!!
What a great thing to be able to celebrate one particular person for an entire day!! We start with special breakfasts on special plates, balloons, new outifts for school. We tell everyone we can think of at school, stores, WHEREVER!! Then it’s time for dinner (birthday person’s choice), presents, and cake.
I love birthdays and would celebrate for an entire month if I could :-)!!
I love Christmas because it is a time where my whole family gets together and celebrates the season. My dad cooks a big pig in his backyard and invites all of our family and friends. Christmas is a great time for traditions, old and new, and really spending quality time with your family.
This a fantastic giveaway!
Christmas!! It’s the one holiday when my whole family actually get together ๐ Good times!
I too love Christmas, seeing my kids faces light up when they see what Santa left for them under the tree & opening their gifts from us, getting all dressed up & going to mass as a family, everyone in our families getting together and eating a big yummy dinner!
I would have to say Christmas. Having time off to see family and friends, cooking for those you love, getting to watch the little ones’ eyes light up on Christmas morning again and again… what could be better?!
For me, its a toss up between St. Patrick’s and Christmas. St. Pat’s because its celebrates (so to speak) part of my heritage and Christmas because of the spirit of giving and sharing with others.
My favorite holiday is Christmas!!! I live in the Northeat and there is no better feeling than sitting around a fire with our family and watching it snow outside.
I love love christmas! my parents house always smells like cinnamon, and its when we get together as a family, have good food and giggles and are reminded what matters most in our lives!
I’ll have to join in on this one. I want those templates! Love ’em!
I’m going with Christmas also. Not just because we get time off and get to see family or the gift giving. (Although that IS fun) But because for me it represents the day my Saviour was born. Nothing compares to that.
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE christmas. It’s not the gifts…its just the feeling of it all. It reminds me so much of my carefreechildhood and all the fun things my mom did with me. From building gingerbread houses, to making cookies and giving them to neighbors, to buying a gfit for an angel on the salvation army tree…all the best memories I can think of as a child. I hope to pass that onto my twin girls as well!
Mine is Thanksgiving. I love the food and cooking and being with my family. But most of all because that is the day that I brought my son home from the hospital last year so for me is represented a new beginning for my husband and myself as a real family, not just the two of us anymore, but a family of three. So Thanksgiving has a whole new meaning to me this year and every year on.
A close second would be st. patricks day because I love the color green and I get to represent for my irish heritage! ๐
I LOVE Christmas. I didn’t grow up in a christian home so we never celebrated Christmas. So I always told myself when I had my own familiy I would make it special. I’ve really enjoyed making every Christmas the BEST Christmas for my family. It’s also a time to celebrate something special. The birth of our Savior. What an awesome time!
I LOVE ST.PATRICK’s DAY!!!
I have a very large family, and every year we travel to my grandmother’s house and have a HUGE party / family reunion on whichever weekend it is closest to.
We go all out with decorations and dress in green, we have hats, necklaces, buttons, and I even have a leprachaun costume I change into at some point during the party. It is an AWESOME time…my kids look forward to it every year because they get to spend time with cousins they haven’t seen in a while.
LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It’s better than Christmas, because we get to spend a couple of days with ALL of the family.
I love Christmas. There is no other better feeling than to watch your kids come out on Christmas Day with smiles from ear to ear. We cook food together. We sit around and talk together. The memories we make on Christmas is priceless. I truly enjoy Christmas with my family.
Awesome giveaway! Love the templates!!
I love Christmas…When the house is all decorated and the family gets together, it is a happy joyful time.
My favorite holiday, in my eyes, are my sons’ birthdays! Sounds kinda corney I know but it was the best day of my life when they were born and by celebrating it, it takes me back to that amazing day when they came into this world.
Well, before my son was born, Christmas was definitely NOT my favorite holiday. All the hustling and bustling…traveling between all the families. It all seemed like more of a hastle than a time to enjoy. But now, this will be my 3rd Christmas since my son was born and THIS is quickly becoming my favorite of all the holidays. It’s not about me anymore…it’s all about him. The joy I get from his wide-eyed excitement is all I need!
Christmas!! I love the look on the kids faces as they see the present left out for Santa. I love anytime that the whole family can get together.
My favorite holiday is Christmas. It is the one time of year we all slow down and get to be with the family! I love getting all of the greeting cards and family news letters. I hand them all around the house. They are a part of my decorating. It looks very festive! To see my girl’s faces on Christmas morning is the best thing in the whole world. The church services are the most beautiful during this time or year. Everyone just feels good and enjoys being around one another! Most of the time anyways. Hee hee ๐
I have to agree that Christmas is my favorite holiday. Spending time with family at this time of year just seems to mean so much more than any other day. Now that I have a 2 year old it is fun to see the holidays through his eyes!
I LOVE Christmas. Every year I get out all of my decorations the first weekend in November. I love everything about it. The baking, the cold, the music, time with family, and just that feeling you have of joy and peace. I am kinda obsessed with it.
I like Thanksgiving the best. Family and friends get together and eat fabulous food. Then we roll into the living room to laugh at our fatness. No presents to buy. No tree to decorate. Just people we love and good food!
I love to take the girls to visit Santa. One will most likely cry, and the other will try to hoard his time with her grand requests. But either way, it is so magical.
Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. Even though it doesn’t snow in Texas, it’s still a special and magical time.
I love the lights, the trees, giving and family. I love how everyone’s heart softens and people become more kindly and generous. I love that the Savior is the center of the celebration for some but I still love the love that fills the air even in the homes of those who have a secular holiday. I love to help my kids celebrate in fun, festive ways…and quiet ways with the family. I put my tree up as soon as my husbnad lets me and take it down on my birthday…Jan 15th!
This may sound crazy, but I love Thanksgiving. My daughter was born the day before Thanksgiving and my son was born 2 days before Thanksgiving (3 years apart). Unfortunately I got to have hospital turkey those years, but Thanksgiving always makes me think of their births. And what appropriate timing for the two things in this world I am most thankful for!
enter me please.
My favorite holiday is Easter.I love this day for 2 reasons.First being this is the time we celebrate what Jesus did for us on the cross.Had it not been for that,It would be a dreary life now knowing there was no hope of a wonderful eternity of love later on.
Second being this is the holiday i choose to host.lol..I enjoy cooking for several days beforehand for all family and friends that will come.We have a huge spread on the table with lots of laughter and fun.For months i spend time planning games for all ages to enjoy after the meal.We have candy and small toys and trinkets for all the participants. Finally we have several HUGE egg hunts for all the children. It is a day i look forward to all year long.A day that i use to remember just how special life, love ,family and friends are.
Thanks for a wonderful contest!
My favorite Holiday is always Christmas! We don’t buy the kids a lot of toys during the year and at Christmas I have so much fun buying them stuff and teaching them what Christmas is all about at the same time. Happy Birthday Jesus!
I would have to say Christmas. I love the feeling of family and loved ones being close and of course all the beautiful lights. Most of all I love how people seem to find their giving side during this time of year. For the most part people are kinder and and more giving…as they should be the whole year! ๐
Christmas is my favorite. It makes me happy to watch my girls enjoy the holiday spirit!
My favorite holiday is Christmas Eve. I come froma large Italian family where the eve was more celebrated than the next day. The whole family would come together for an entire day of cooking and eating and sharing old stories and eating and eating oh yeah and did I mention EATING. lol
Some of my most treasured memories are from Christmas Eves past. As my generation has grown now to be the next generation responsible for carrying on the tradtion, we do with great enthusiasm. I think now as a parent I am even more enjoying it to get to see it all again but through my childrens’ eyes.
Christmas for sure, because that is when we get to spend more time with the extended family. Plus, we get to watch all the little one’s open up their gifts which is always fun to watch.
Hugs,
catherine

4th of July…..family, food and fireworks! I love it all!
Christmas is easily my favorite holiday! I love the QT that our family spends together and tear up everytime I watch my kids open their presents. ๐
Gorgeous templates, so I’m jumping in with Halloween. I have a fun collection of Dept 56 light-up houses and figurines. The kids help me decorate our house with pumpking lights and talking scary figures. Our upstairs lights flash with ghosts and this year we’re adding some motion sensor owls. Trick or treating at our house is a blast!
OOOHHHH!! What a FUN giveaway! I could totally use these!!
My favorite holiday is Christmas…I love the magic of it! The past two years we have ventured to the Grand Canyon Railway and taken our kids on “The Polar Express.” SO MUCH FUN! There is just nothing that quite compares to the magic of Christmas and Santa than what you see on the face of your children. It is simply priceless!!
Christmas is my favorite holiday! I love the decorations, the lights, the smells, getting together with my family, setting up a cheesy photoshoot of my daughter for my Christmas cards (grandparents love that) and of course the food! Halloween is a close second for me to though!
My favorite holiday is Christmas. I love the warm cozy feeling inside the house while it’s freezing outside. All the family gathers, there’s lots of yummy food, baked goodies that are only made at Christmas time, good music, fun and games. This year, after 15 years of marriage, we finally have our own little one. This is her first Christmas!!! After “female” surgery last fall, I was so depressed I didn’t care if we celebrated Christmas or not. Then in Jan. 08 we got word a little girl would be born in July 08 and she would be ours!!
My favorite holiday is Christmas. There are just sooo many great things around this special season. First of all there is the whole reason for Christmas…the birth of my Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ! Then there is the wonderful cinnamon scented pinecones, the fun hours spent in the kitchen with mom baking holiday candy and yummy baked goods, the smell of warm, rich apple cider, curling up to watch “while you were sleeping” (a MUST during this time of year!) the beautiful lights, trees, and decorations, and getting to see my precious little angel’s face light up on Christmas morning. I love to GIVE! I think I get more excited than the person receiving a gift from me. I also love this holiday because we get to help others in need….angel trees are my fave! While many people get caught up in the hustle and bustle and make this holiday crazy… if you just stop, take it all in, and count your blessings… it is truly the most amazing holiday ever! =)
I am a big Christmas fan. Iโm not really sure why but it has always given me that warm and fuzzy feeling inside.
My favorite holiday is Christmas. I love that we get to spend so much together time. My husband is a Marine, and so far we’ve spent our 5 married Christmases in 4 different states! I love the excitement our children have for all holidays. ๐
I too love christmas. Theres nothing like spending time with family and watching my little girls eyes light up like the christmas tree in the corner when she receives a gift shes been wanting! Its so full of love and warmth and really puts alot of things in perspective. The most important things in life are God, Family & Friends and christmas really brings that out in others.
I guess Christmas would win for my fav holiday. Even though everything leading up to Christmas is very stressful, the end result is worth it. I used to LOVE Christmas shopping, but now with 3-year-old twins… not so much. Everything seems rushed, but when it’s all said and done, visiting with family and just seeing my boys’ faces light up is worth every stressful moment. ๐
I love Christmas because everyone just seems nicer, more jolly and happy. I love the decorations, the food, the family and just overall the entire month of December. I LOVE it when they play Christmas songs right after Thanksgiving, it gets you in the spirit right away! Thanks!

I love Halloween because it is the one time of year you can be anyone or anything that you want to be.
I love Christmas Eve. That’s right… the night before Christmas. On Christmas Eve we get together with my mom’s side of the family for a great night of fun! Even though we are all older now, we still have a great dinner, exchange gifts, and play some sort of game that always includes a great deal of laughter!
My birthday (November 20th) is my favorite holiday, not because it was the day I was born but because I bribe my husband every year to allow me to put up the Christmas tree on my birthday.
My birthday kicks off the holiday season and my tree is up from Thanksgiving through the first week of the New Year.
T-minus 22 days!
