How could I resist… a darling bag, in a beautiful setting… OH YEAH!

I warmly welcome this October…. because September was a rollar coaster ride that I wish to never experience again!

Sadly, in September… we lost 3 people, whom we all cared very deeply about.  On top of that, we were told that my father in law… one of the most amazing people and inspirations to me, was sick with cancer… again.  He has a rare form of cancer, called MERKEL Cell… which only a handful of people in the world have.  Thankfuly, he is a strong willed person and “Lion” hearted fighter… so we are keeping optimistic and lookin forward to good news after his treatments.

I also played with the thoughts of opening a retail studio, and moving my studio from my home.  However, I’ve decided to put it on the “back burner”, because of the said above situations.  But…. the thought is always in my head, and I’m constantly obsession about a darlin little studio.. filled with tutus, page boy hats, and other fun props! lol

So WELCOME OCTOBER, and I pray you bring us better times than September did, lol

Did I mention that Halloween is my FAVORITE time of year?  If you know me personally… you know that Halloween is a soft spot for me…. not only the great ghosts and ghouls (that I LOVE! lol), but it’s also the birthday month for almost all of my family!  My sister, father, mother, 3 aunts, grandmother, cousin, Goddaughter, niece… have I mentioned enough?  Well they are ALL October babies!  In fact, my fathers birthdsy IS on Halloween, and my mother… well she is the day before!  So it’s a big fest for us! Oh yeah…. and my dad turns 60 this year!!!! HOORAY!!!

So that’s my story… and I’m lookin forward to a fun, and HAPPY October!

THANK YOU to everyone for the kind, touching and simply sweet emails and comments… I knew my bags were loved, but I guess we underestimated how many people really enjoy, love and rely on my product!  It’s nice to be loved, and missed… but saddens me that I’m leaving you all in this “drab” world of photography gear, lol. Needless to say… thank you over and over and… over, again.

It’s perfect for me. I am happy for you though that you feel like you’re doing the right thing- a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do. I think it’s pretty clear from the response though that everyone feels the same way that I do….your bags will be missed!! I will for sure be supporting you with what the future holds. Thank you to all the kind peeps who have sent me emails, comments and other communications regarding the retirement of TJ Bags… you are too kind, and I will miss you just as much!!!!!

Due to the ENORMOUS RESPONSE to our sale, our shipping lead time is being pushed out to 5-7 days.
Also, we WILL be stocking more inventory in the next few weeks, to fulfill our manufacturers PO.  We will approx have 100 more Kristines and 100 more Reese bags to add to stock… after that, inventory will NOT be replenished.

So the time has come, to make some big decisions and life changes… and TJ Inc is going to have a bitter sweet moment.

Many of you know, that TJ Inc is run by me… Tracy Joy,  partnered by my mother and sister, with help along the way from my friend Susanne (thank you girlfriend!!!).  Our little business is often seen as a large enterprise by some, but the truth is… we are a family run business who has always taken pride in staying small and being “one” with our clientele.  Unlike many of our competitors, we dont have a large warehouse, or other employees… it is just us 3 women, joined together, doing what we love and making people happy in the process

However, I am also a professional photographer… and co-founder of Prop Insanity. Due to this fact… my days are loaded with work, and little time for “else”.  Not to mention… my sisters is due to have her first child this summer!!!  Needless to say, time is not always available, and will only be getting tighther.  So…I must make a choice… and I my heart has lead me to the followin decision…..

Tracy Joy Camera Bags will be retiring… on hiatis… however you wish to call it, but we will be “closing” shop.

This decision is ONLY due to the fact that there is only enough time in a day for so much, and my photography has grown to be such an amazing passion, that I wish to pursue it full time. Along with the care of my children, who are home with me. I’m a mother, and photographer… and very excited about this next chapter in my life!

BUT DON’T FRET MY LOYAL CLIENTELE & Friends… we WILL still be creating, sewing, selling our ENTIRE accessory and flaps & insert for your TJ bags! We wouldn’t leave you with a bangin’ bag, and no fun accessories to boot! So don’t worry too much.. your TJ bag can still be dolled up, shown off and bragged about. After all the bags sell… we will market and sell our accessories, flaps & inserts from our original Etsy site, www.TracyJoy.etsy.com  Until then, all purchases can be made direct from our shops here.
