Since the birth of my own sweet children (starting in 2006), I’ve become drawn to the beauty, simplicity & whimsy of maternity& newborn portraiture. From glowing bellies, to tiny toes and fingers. Currently, I service the Lake & Nw Cook county, Chicagoland areas. I have a small in home studio, or shoot on location in your home or at a local park.

what should i expect, as a client of Tracy Joy?
Expect FUN! I bring a fun, friendly and whimsical outlook, along with sassy props to help your little one “get in the mood”. Plus, i have toddler of my own… so i know how little ones “tick”.
I do specialize in maternity thru 1st birthdays… however I also enjoy a very vast array of other photography.
I have a plethora of fun props, esp for newborns and toddlers. Small little items, such as “daddy’s hat & tie” down to a fluffy heart shaped rug. Fun, and sassy little items that help your wee one fall into “character”, and help bring out the brightness & smile in his/her soul!
My style is natural and relaxed, trying to capture the honesty and innocence of “everyday” childhood, and the magic that comes along with babies and children in general. Nothing is more beautiful than a glowing baby belly, and the face of a new mother. By capturing the essence of motherhood, or the tiny smile of a 5 day old baby… my photography will capture the simple joys in life, and turn them into lasting memories for you & your loved ones.
I prefer natural lighting, in a relaxed and comfortable setting, which helps to give a feeling of relaxation… therefore letting the natural beauty and whimy of my client shine through.
