{Introducing…}

Posted under Uncategorized

new kristine! by you.

here she is… my “New” Kristine shooting bag!

She is pretty much the same, just a few minor changes.  For instance, the twill is a ‘touch’ thicker, and the padding will be a thin foam (keeping the same shape as before, but a tad firmer than the padding used now).  The firmer padding will let the Kristine stand on her own!  It will also include a rubber shoulder pad (super comfy).

 I just had to share this new picture… I’m so happy and proud with the results!

The “New” Kristine will be introduced in 2009 (obviously, lol), but prob not for a few months… unless “magic” happens and things speed up…. which is always possible!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, and good health and happiness to you all!

With my “free time” this week, I was able to take some product pictures! Not for Tracy Joy Inc… but for this great lil esty shop The Patacake Baby. She bought some fabric from my etsy fabric store… and saw I was into photography… so asked if I would do some product pics for her! I know this isnt my Photography Blog, but I couldnt resist!

What an honor! Seriously…. her stuff is VERY quality made, I was impressed. She sent me a bib, newborn gown, and her Diaper Diddie… it rocks! I’m so happy… the diaper diddie is going in my diaper bag PRONTO (after another baby shoot w/it), lol

Here are some of my favs… I used Reese for my model, but I have another product from her (baby gown) so use on a newborn shoot I have in the next few weeks too.

{what a difference a year makes}

Posted under Uncategorized

So yesterday the thought crossed my mind… WHAT AN AMAZING YEAR THIS HAS BEEN FOR TRACY JOY INC!!!!

Last year, 2007, at this same time… I had a 10+ week waiting list, and was cutting, pinning, sewing, pressing ALL my own products. Each bag, I tediously hand crafted myself. Each cut of my sissors, each pin in a pattern, and every stitch was all by my own hand (with the gracious help of my mother who was also sewing bags for me).

Now, 2008, there is no massive waiting list anymore, as my inventory is “stocked”… my bags are now produced at a contract sewing company, (proudly made in the USA). All the bags are cut in mass quantities by a giant cutting machine (not my trusty pair of Gingher sissors), and then put on a sewing assembly line (still sewn by hands, just not mine!).

So I just wanted to say….

for sticking by me; through the LONG waiting lists, the “out of stock” warnings, and for helping to make Tracy Joy Inc what it is today. I couldnt be happier… and not just because of this amazing company that I have created from ground up… but for the outstanding people I have worked with, met and befriended in the past year of this great adventure. I am truly blessed!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS, AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!

Boudiour…

Posted under Uncategorized

Now I know I mostly do babies… bellys… and that sorts gushy mushy stuff… but I also, secretly… LOVE BOUDIOUR PHOTOGRAPHY!

I’ve done 2 Boudiour shoots in the past year, and they were both so exciting! Here is my favorite shot from my most recent shoot… well, it’s my favorite out of the “public” ones anyway *wink wink*
heels

What better way to make yourself feel AMAZING and sexy, and 100% woman, then flipping on a pair of your favorite heels… with practically nothing else! And I just love playing with “color select” (the bra in color, vs the black and white photo). I think it really makes a statement, esp on this picture.
