So what is “New” about the Joey?  Well the new Joey comes with a standard padding, that is thin (for comfort while shooting) but firm, and provides a light bounce resistance (for any minor bumps and bangs).  Instead of 2 flat back pockets, the new Joey has 2 gusseted side pockets… perfect for your lenses!  Your camera body fits snuggly between the 2 pockets, in the middle of your Joey bag.   The last change, the new Joey has a boxier apperance, and completely stands on it’s own.

The original Joey had a great design… BUT the new Joey… ROCKS!!!   I took all my wonderful customer feedback (which is always so important to me) and put in onto paper to make my “new” Joey.  Therefore… I hope you LOVE this new design as much as I do!

WELCOME TO SIMPLY JOY PHOTOGRAPHY’S BLOG!

I am super excited to finally seperate my photography blogging from my sassy little camera bag line blog, and have my own little world to chat about my sessions, clients and share pictures (with anyone who cares to look)! So here it is! And this is my first post

Sweet little baby “T”, born 12:02am THIS MORNING to my dear friend Nicole. How precious are newborns? Nothing can explain it… the peach fuzz on their skin, the little hairs around their perfect rosey lips, and the “purring” that newborn babies coo when they are cuddled close.

And how lucky was I to photography this sweet precious little girl, only 12 hours after she entered this brand new world!!! Oh, I just cant wait for our furture “sessions”…. and cuddling of course!

It’s pretty fun… our sons are 4 months different in age, and now our daughers are 7 mos differnt in age! HOW LUCKY ARE WE!

Just a precious 12hrs old in this picture…. here is the newest member of my “photography obsession”. Born to my close friend, at just 12:02am this morning!!!  I couldnt resist sharing…

here are a few details about my newly designed Joey bag:
*the Joey is the perfect bag for any member of the MAMARAZZI! Aka, mommies who LOVE taking pics of their babies, and need a camera bag/diaper bag.
*the Joey is convertible! It can be worn as a regular shoulder, or messenger bag, but also easily converts into a backpack!
*comfortably holds your dslr camera body (with lens attached),and 2 add’l lenses. Or 1-2 Lens plus: flash, light meter, etc.
*OR if your a mommy, the Joey happily fits your dipes/wipes, wallet, p&S camera, binkies/small toy and 2 bottles
*Lined with a thin, but firm foam padding, giving structure and support.
NOTE* The Joey bag is a shooting bag, created to give comfort and ease while you are on a shoot. While the structure is great for shooting and storing your camera & lenses, it is not intented for use as a travel bag. The padding has a light “shock” resistance, but is not intended to protect your gear from a serious drop or misuse.

As a photographer, I’ve found that I have SO many pics of my kids… but close to “0″ of me with them. So I’ve opted to try the 52w challenge… where each week, I take a pix of me AND my children, and post it on my flickr account.

So far, this my absolute FAVORITE. It is #3 of 52, Dh even joined in this one…

I guess some people find them controversial… but honestly, if they are used for fun… WHAT HARM IS THERE!
